A&B Communications has been in business throughout South Texas since 1989.
Experience in Public Safety, Local Government infrastructures, Utility industries, Oil Field production and transportation, Refineries, Medical, Agriculture and General Business.
Local radio communications, Wide Area Communications, P25 Public Safety communications. Mobile radio, Mobile Data, GPS, fixed data transmission, SCADA, Video monitoring, wireless data networking, Point to Point and Point to Multi Point data service. A&B Communications also owns and operates over (70) seventy 450 MHz and 800Mhz Specialized Mobile Radio Sites.

Installation

A & B requires that all employees submit to drug testing on employment and at random times thereafter.
All personnel involved in the equipment installations will be factory trained to insure that all factory specifications are met.
All test equipment are modern, state-of-the art systems and are calibrated every 12 months. Documentation of this will be provided if required.
All mobile installers have minimum of 1 year experience in installing mobile radios and are factory trained on the product used in this project.
Base Station installs will be overseen by FCC Licensed technicians using calibrated test equipment for alignment, cable and antenna analyzer to verify and sweep equipment and antenna system.
All installs are overseen by trained professionals and Journeyman Electricians where necessary to ensure that the Customer and Manufacturer’s specifications are met or exceeded.

Maintenance

A & B’s strongest asset is our qualified team and the ability to service the customer efficiently and effectively. Our number one business and priority is to keep our customer communications operational and performing at its very best. For that reason we offer our customers on call response of 7/24/365. Under normal conditions response is less than 4 hours. In the event that a catastrophic occurrence happens, A&B will not hesitate to bring all the resources available to bear and restore service ahead of schedule.

Warranty

A&B Communications warranties all its work against any defect in workmanship for a period of 90 days from date of work completion. All equipment supplied by A&B is warranted for a minimum of 1 year, with warranty extension options based on manufacturer.

Maintenance Agreements

Different levels of maintenance agreements are offered to our customers and range from dedicated personnel on the customer’s location to “as-needed service” with flat-rate, all inclusive maintenance.
For our customers with large fleets or fixed equipment, weekly “route” service is available and a technician will visit them on an agreed day each week. This is a no charge service and the customer is only billed if work is done.
